Mysteries of the Quantum Universe with Dr. Hitoshi Murayama
On Friday, July 12th (7 PM - 8:30 PM PST), Dr. Hitoshi Murayama, Director of the Kavli Institute for the Physics and Mathematics of the Universe (IPMU) at the University of Tokyo and renowned theoretical physicist, will be discussing the mysteries of the universe at the TELUS World of Science. This is a free event!

Dr. Murayama will be discussing the enduring mysteries at the frontiers of science in the context of current and forthcoming experiments. During his talk, he will outline what we know and (mostly) don’t know about anti-matter, neutrinos, and (the still-elusive) dark matter, and will explain how these enigmas fit into our understanding of the universe. The lecture will be followed by an audience Q&A session. (via TRIUMF)

Note that although this is a free public talk, registration is required.
Edit: The event is now sold out, but it will still be available via livestream.
For those who are interested and unable to attend, or those who feel more comfortable watching from home, a livestream will be available as well.
More details about this exciting event can be found at TRIUMF, Science World, or Eventbrite.
